Nvidia just invested in the AI legal startup that's splashing Jude Law ads everywhere

nvidia's venture arm backed swedish legal ai startup legora at a $5.6 billion valuation, part of a $50 million extension to its series d. the extension brought the total round to $600 million. atlassian, adams street partners and insight also participated. the size of nvidia's investment wasn't disclosed. legora builds ai agents and tools for lawyers. it launched an ad campaign this month featuring jude law with the tagline "law just got more attractive." the company says it recently passed $100 million in annual recurring revenue and serves tens of thousands of legal professionals at firms like barclays, white & case, and linklaters. it's nvidia's first bet in legal tech, per dealroom data. legora has grown from 40 to 400 staff over the past year across six cities. in march, us rival harvey raised $200 million at an $11 billion valuation.
